Almost 20 years later, and somehow we're all still alive.

Honestly, I'm pathologically happy to see these familiar faces again. They're some comfort in that. Same faces, same nonsense, same questionable sense of humour. Just a little more life experience and responsibilities, with some questionable life decisions that probably shouldn't be discussed in public, lolz.

Back then, we worried about homework, school gossip and who liked whom. Now, we worry about bills and taxes, cholesterol levels, back pain and my knees that sound like bubble wrap. Well, Some of us are just trying to keep their organs functioning here. Takde orang pun pernah bagitahu aku yang this adulting is a scam!

And addmaths? Please. Don't resurrect that trauma. I have absolutely zero recollection of how to solve quadratic equations ke dy/dx kee... At this point, if you give me an equation, I'll give you a resignation letter. That part of my brain has officially ceased operations. Mintak maaf Cikgu Herman, I will never be your favourite student, not even in another lifetime pon T-T

Life have taken us down different roads. Some have built families, some have chased dreams, some still in weathered storms in and out, and some have become people our younger selves would never have imagined.

And here I am, never thought I'd be holding my third child while catching up on 20 years worth of gossip. Apparently, motherhood has not killed my curiosity. Sleep deprivation, perhaps. But the gossip department remains fully operational. Priorities, people.

Yet, within minutes, we're teenagers again, laughing at old jokes, revisiting forgotten memories and picking up conversations as if 20 years were merely a long weekend.

Bittersweet, really. We've survived adolescence, navigated adulthood, accumulated responsibilities and somehow manage to escape from becoming PSY patient in my own hospital. wahaha..

Here's to surviving another 50++ years. insyaAllah. Hopefully lutut aku still boleh function and enough brain cells left to remember each other's names. heheehe..
